Built for the River Corridor

Gutters That Hold Up to Priest River Winters

Priest River sits at the confluence of the Priest and Pend Oreille rivers — a combination of river-valley fog, lake-effect snow, and substantial spring runoff that gives homes here a distinct drainage challenge. Wet, heavy snow accumulates on metal roofs, pine and fir debris fills open gutters quickly, and freeze-thaw cycles off the rivers age underbuilt systems rapidly.

Every installation is scoped accordingly: heavier-gauge metal, 6" K-style or box profiles on most homes, oversized downspouts, and snow stops above any gutter run sitting beneath a metal roof.

We work all over Priest River, Oldtown, the Priest River-to-Priest Lake corridor, and out toward Laclede and Blanchard.

What People Say

Trusted by Homeowners Across the Region

A small sample of recent reviews — every one is a real homeowner from somewhere in our service area.

"I recently had new rain gutters installed on my shop by GutterWorks Plus and the experience was fantastic from start to finish! The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently without any mess, and the s...eamless aluminum gutters and gutter covers they put up look sleek and modern. They’ve already handled a heavy downpour perfectly, directing water away from the foundation and preventing any pooling around the shop. The pricing was fair, and the warranty gives me peace of mind. If you’re in need of gutter installation, I highly recommend going with GutterWorks + who know their stuff—5 stars all the way!"

Priest River Gutter FAQ

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often from Priest River customers.

Yes. Oldtown is at the state line, and we work both sides of the river. For homes on the Newport, WA side, call to discuss — depending on the project we may still be a fit.

For most homes we recommend 6" K-style or box gutters with 3"×4" downspouts. The larger capacity handles river-valley rainfall and spring runoff significantly better than the standard 5" size.

For metal or standing-seam roofs, in almost all cases yes. Sliding snow from these roofs hits gutters with enough force to tear them off the fascia. Snow stops are inexpensive insurance against that.

Priest River is part of our standard service area. No trip charge.

Yes. Fascia rot is common in older Priest River neighborhoods. Damaged boards are replaced before hanging the new gutter system so the install has a sound substrate.

When conditions allow, yes. Heavy snow and ice prevent installation, but mild winter days are often a good window to get on the schedule before the spring rush.
